Berklee College of Music graduate Shinobu Mitsuoka and Institute of Audio Research graduate Andy Gomez share over 15 years of experience behind the board. A handful of experienced interns round out the Deepwave team. Your project receives the attention to detail it deserves.

Our Studio Concept
Deepwave "the studio" is primarily the production center of Deepwave Music Productions a world-class music production house located in Long Island City, New York and minutes from midtown Manhattan.
Larry Hammel designed the studio with pure creativity in mind, to achieve the best possible performance's from a recording artist. By using the studio as a creative tool and as an extension of his musical experience, he can achieve timeless results.
Artist's will love the ergonomically designed lounge-like interior. Natural light, brick walls, wood floors and plants adorn the room to provide a gorgeous environment, conducive to creativity and comfort. Relax on our rooftop lounge overlooking the New York City skyline or take a break and visit one of many quaint cafe's and restaurants in the LIC art district.
For the recording engineer, acoustic separation and superior monitoring allow for an enhanced experience. All recording equipment has been optimized and integrated to achieve the best quality recordings.
Musicians will love the lines of sight, ease of musical interaction and having full control of their own cue mixes. We encourage live recording whenever possible to achieve a great feel and groove, virtually unobtainable by overdubbing alone.
